02Browsing and preferences
This version offers no account creation, contact form or payment. It stores your chosen language on your device and, when you make a choice, your analytics preference. These preferences provide the requested functions without advertising profiling. The hosting provider’s technical logs may include your IP address, timestamps and requested resources; their retention period and access arrangements must be documented with the provider.
03Optional audience measurement
Google Analytics 4 loads only after your permission, when a measurement ID is configured for production. It measures marketing-page visits and clicks towards the demonstration, pricing or offer. Demonstration pages, legal documents and missing pages are excluded. No form data, account identity or arbitrary URL values are intentionally sent. Google processes browsing identifiers, device characteristics and interaction data; this tracking is not described as anonymous.
04Legal basis and choices
Analytics relies on your consent. Accepting and refusing are offered at the same level. You can withdraw permission through “Manage cookies”; future loading is blocked, accessible cookies are deleted and the page may reload to stop code already loaded. Withdrawal does not automatically erase data Google has already received.
05Recipients and transfers
Recipients will include authorised staff at the publisher, the hosting provider and, only with permission, Google for Analytics. Google’s contracting entity, subprocessors, relevant countries and safeguards for transfers outside the European Economic Area must be documented before activation using the actual contracts and settings. This template does not guarantee a transfer mechanism or exclusive storage location.
06Retention
Your consent choice expires after 180 days. Analytics cookies are configured for 180 days without automatic renewal on each visit. Your language preference remains until replaced or cleared through your browser. GA4 event retention must be set to 2 months before activation and checked in the console; website code cannot enforce this setting. Retention of aggregate reports must be documented separately.
07Your rights
Under the applicable GDPR conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as withdrawal of consent. Send requests to the privacy contact; proportionate identity verification may be necessary. A response is normally provided within one month, with a reasoned extension where legally permitted. You may complain to the CNIL or the competent supervisory authority.
08Future accounts and customer websites
Before launch, additional information will identify account, billing, support, order and reservation data, legal bases, recipients and retention periods. Stripe is planned for payments but is not loaded on this marketing website. When WindCloud hosts data on a business customer’s behalf, a processing agreement will cover instructions, security, subprocessors, incidents and return or deletion of data.
